A Fillmore County Comprehensive Planning Program is being conducted with the guidance of the Fillmore County Planning Commission.  The Program will include an update of the County’s current Comprehensive Plan, Zoning and Subdivision Regulations.  The Comprehensive Plan will include a review of existing and future land use, public facilities, an economic development profile and plan. 

The Fillmore County Comprehensive Planning Program includes a comprehensive citizen participation program, consisting of a Community “Opinion Survey” for the Cities and Villages of Fillmore County (with the exception of Geneva) and a County-Wide “Opinion Survey” for residents of Rural Fillmore County.  These Survey will identify the most critical issues among the local citizenry, including land development and preservation efforts that should be implemented during the next 10 years
